Theme Song Challenge

"Sing the song. It makes a big difference, I think, making the words and melody come out of your mouth." Gail Blanke

Last night I had a great text/convo complete with mp3's with the T-man.

We were determining the big stuff in life, debating the merits of a life lived simply vs. one of mystery and complication.

He linked me to the song "Simple Man" by Lynyrd Skynyrd, which is just a killer song and one I hadn't heard in a while. I joked that it was his theme song. Then I retracted that text because I thought about it for a good while and disagreed. It IS his theme song - but only partly. The trick was really a "mix tape" of theme songs for how you know a person best...

This set off a texting/linking flurry of what I think a better theme song for him would be including one for myself that is yet incomplete.

My top theme song for 2010 for myself is "Soldier" by Ingrid Michaelson.

What about you? Any suggestions to share - for me? For you?

:)
