Hmmm...I feel like approaching this statement like a problem set.
I don't believe you can teach a person to dream. I'm not certain you can give someone a dream. I have heard of taking away someone's dream and even stealing another person's dream. So that means you can't make or manifest for someone but you can take/thieve whatever and go into the negative. I've oft uttered "Sweet Dreams!" as a kind of wish to another person (and then busted out into the refrain: "are made of these...who am I to disagree? I traveled the world and the seven seas. Everybody is searching for something"). Even though I was only singing that part for fun, I can actually get behind that awesome song.
Therefore, my geometric algorithm concludes that in fact, nothing happens unless first a dream.
