" The value of a man resides in what he gives and not in what he is capable of receiving." - Albert Einstein
Most of us have been touched by cancer in some way. This is my way of fighting back against a disease that has taken too much. I joined a 12-person (all-women's relay team) to run in a 36-hour, 197-mile course from Mt. Hood, Oregon to the seaside coast (called Hood to Coast http://hoodtocoast.com/) that will push us to the limit as We Run. On. Courage. When we cross that finish line on August 27th-28th, we will be doing it for you and for all the people we know who’ve been touched by this disease. It's overwhelming to learn that more than 11 million Americans can benefit from our efforts each year. Please support me with a donation so that together, with the American Cancer Society, we can better understand and fight cancer.
I'm touched and honored that so many of my friends, family and co-workers rallied to support me and have helped to raise money for the American Cancer Society. Thank you to all of you - it means a lot.
